Clayton County home values are increasing. According to the most recent FMLS Local Market Update (February 2021), the average sales price of single-family detached homes increased from $162,295 in 2020 to $179,022 — a 10.3 percent increase in value. However, the inventory of homes is still low. According to the report, there is only a 1-month supply of inventory on the market today, a sharp 58.3 percent decrease from last year.
