Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services’ High Ranks Lower Home and Business Rates

The Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services Department (CCFES) not only puts out fires and responds to other emergencies, but their efficient work also helps Clayton residents and business owners to save money on their property insurance. Who doesn’t like saving money?

Clayton has one of the best emergency agencies in the country. Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services joins an elite group of public safety providers who have earned the Insurance Services Office rating of ‘1.’ The rating means residents and businesses in the CCFES service area can seek a reduction in their insurance premiums. It also makes the County more attractive to potential businesses.  Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services was also awarded Accreditation from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International, the second major organization to praise the department’s efforts.

There are an estimated 27,198 Fire Departments in the United States, and of those, only 238 are accredited, less than 2% of all Fire Departments in the country. It’s good to know that Clayton is one of them.

New businesses seeking to relocate can come to Clayton County knowing that their investment and their employees will be protected by one of the best systems of fire, water, and communications in the country.  Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services provides fire protection for unincorporated Clayton County, Lake City, Rex, Hampton, Lovejoy, Jonesboro and the Clayton portion of Stockbridge.
